към bridar99 : I agree. But the point of peer pressure/social competition is rooted in success at attracting a man, not anything else. If females could just learn this, perhaps some would stop wasting their time, money & effort. Men don't care.

към SloshySlosh : you are completely missing the point. they don't do it for 'men' they do it from pressure from each other, and from the crap they see on 'reality' shows, it's not about trying to impress men. Also, it's just a society thing, way more males have tatts than they ever did in the past, look at all the morons walking around with tribal tattoos and full arm sleeves, it's just a thing for the dumb people who want to impress others, falling in with the crowd mentality. Society as a whole has just dumbed down extremely in the last 30 years.
